According to Singapore's "Lianhe Zaobao" reported on January 15, Singapore Post acquisition Shipping90% stake in New Zealand freight forwarders Famous Pacific and part of the debt through subsidiaries Famous Holdings, officially entered the freight market in New Zealand.

  The purchase price to be determined after working capital adjustments. Because Famous Pacific Shipping net profit after tax real potential may be adjusted up to 4.4 million New Zealand dollars. This makes the purchase price or increase to 800 million New Zealand dollars.

  Singapore Post Bayer Group CEO, said: "Under the strategy to enhance the transport business, the Group is working to enhance the ability to provide a more comprehensive cargo services and this acquisition allows the Group to expand their business to the freight market in New Zealand.."

  Bayer said the acquisition enables the company to provide customers with a more complete electronic transport services, but also further complements the company's postal parcel business network.

  Singapore Post actively enhance regional transport capacity in the past year and a half, including the investment in building e-commerce logistics hub in China, and plans to put into service in mid-2016.
